Job summary

AbbVie in North Chicago, IL is seeking a Supervisor, Warehouse/Services Supply Chain to oversee daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping, and material handling. You will lead warehouse staff and partner with multiple functions to drive on-time delivery and operational excellence.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3–5 years of warehouse or supply chain leadership experience, with proficiency in WMS/ERP systems and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, operations, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in warehouse/logistics or related operations; 5 years preferred.
• Experience supervising in warehouse/distribution.
• Experience with WMS/ERP/inventory-control platforms.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety and regulated industries a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily picking, packing, shipping, and material handling.
• Coordinate schedules, staffing, workload balance, and shifts.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff.
• Set priorities, expectations, and safety standards.
• Monitor service levels and resolve disruptions to delivery.
• Foster an inclusive, accountable team culture.
• Support onboarding, training, and cross-training activities.
• Ensure SOPs, quality requirements, and policies are followed.
• Use data and metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Assist with business continuity and contingency planning.
