Job summary

Hayes Company is seeking an Operations Manager in Forney, TX to oversee daily operations, optimize efficiency, and align activities with strategic goals. You will plan, direct, and coordinate warehouse operations and lead a large team to meet performance standards.

Collaborate with HR and cross-functional partners to improve processes, manage budgets, and ensure safety. You will play a key role in shaping a high-performing culture and driving cost savings through effective systems and KPI

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in warehouse and fulfillment operations, with WMS/3PL focus.
• Strong strategic thinker with a track record of developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic plans and initiatives.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities; track record of managing and developing teams.
• Proficiency in WMS and warehouse technologies; able to manage these systems.
• Knowledge of warehousing KPIs and ability to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and manage the warehouse in accordance with policies and mission.
• Lead and develop a large team, including career development plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve warehouse systems and fulfillment processes.
• Partner with HR on budgets, staffing, and training.
• Foster a high-performance culture with feedback and mutual respect.
• Work with Safety Manager to enforce safety protocols.
