Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead critical warehouse operations including receiving, transfers, picking/packing, and shipping. You will manage a team, make staffing decisions, and ensure safety, quality, and GMP compliance while optimizing workflows and keeping documentation up to date.

The role emphasizes leadership, adherence to OSHA/USDA/HACCP, and continuous improvement strategies. Travel and flexible scheduling may be required to support production goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience leading/train­ing staff or managing a process/project.
• Knowledge of OSHA Standards, USDA, HACCP and EPA Regulations.
• Manufacturing knowledge including yields, plant efficiencies, and procedures.
• Knowledge of SAP, Manufacturing software, Inventory software and MS Office.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Up to 5% travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and compliance with all codes of practice.
• Oversee warehouse activities from receiving to shipping.
• Lead and develop workforce via training and performance reviews.
• Refine practices to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain records, reports and logs for transparency and compliance.
