Cardinal Health's at-Home Solutions distribution business is seeking a Director of Warehouse Operations Management to lead the Sacramento startup distribution center, a 260,000 square-foot facility with 100–180 direct and indirect employees.

This leader will drive vision and strategy, oversee picking/packing, shipping, receiving, safety, maintenance, and quality, and align production plans with the business unit to enable rapid growth.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in an automated distribution center leadership role.
• Experience with technology and automation implementations.
• Lean Six Sigma certified or has equivalent experience.
• Strong data analysis and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset in a fast-changing environment.
• Customer- and results-driven leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build a high-performing team with a winning culture.
• Develop succession plans and leadership pipelines.
• Oversee site safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Create production plans aligned with business strategy.
• Manage KPIs for on-time departures and inventory accuracy.
• Lead the site's strategic roadmap and automation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with US and local regulations.
• Develop schedules aligned to demand and inventory goals.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, HR, IT and others for service quality.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma efforts across the site.
• Prepare the facility for internal and external visitors.
• Drive employee engagement via VOE action plans.
• Delegate effectively to manage multiple priorities.
