Cardinal Health's at-Home Solutions distribution business is seeking a Director of Warehouse Operations Management to lead the Sacramento startup site, overseeing 260,000 square feet and 100–180 staff. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership in picking, packing, shipping, receiving, safety, and maintenance to achieve operational excellence.

You will drive production planning, coordinate cross-functional partners, and own financial performance while ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in automated distribution centers.
• 7–10+ years in a similar automated DC environment.
• Experience with technology and automation implementations is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of a Warehouse Management System.

Responsibilities

• Build a high-performing team and develop talent pipelines.
• Lead site safety, quality, cost, and customer experience.
• Develop production plans and maintain high standards of distribution operations.
• Own site financials including labor and capital expenditures.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure service quality.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Prepare for new building initiatives and site expansions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
• Drive employee engagement and VOE action plans.
