Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing material and products. You will read schedules and determine items to move, and convey materials with hand tools or hand trucks.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, inventory control and meeting shipping deadlines. Candidates should have a High School Diploma and at least one year in warehousing; forklift experience is preferred. This position is on-site with standard warehouse duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in warehouse and distribution.
• Forklift experience required; sit-down, propane preferred.
• Ability to load and unload flatbeds and dry vans.
• Good communication, time management and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and understanding of appointment system.

Responsibilities

• Show initiative in supporting safety, plant wide.
• Ensure accurate order picking and on-time shipping/receiving.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in storage and distribution.
• Assist in cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Support receiving and shipping functions as needed.
