Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in El Paso, TX is seeking a Warehouse Operator with forklift license to manage raw material flow for the daily line functions. This contract role supports a 40-hour week across 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include pulling materials, housekeeping, and assisting training of production operators. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, and HS diploma or equivalent is required.

Job Description

• This position is responsible for the retrieval and control of Raw Material for the daily line functions in manufacturing.
• Daily cleaning of kitting areas including removal of cardboard and trash. And any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Pull raw material from the warehouse for manufacturing.
• Empty large trash and cardboard bins.
• Sweep floors to maintain proper housekeeping requirement.
• Pull pallets to lines from staging area.
• Attends training sessions as directed.
• Helps train production operators as directed.

Education And/or Experience

• High school education or equivalent
• One or more years of warehouse and manufacturing experience preferred.

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to complete basic math calculations. Convert English units of measure to metric.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to apply common sense when carrying out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to be a self-starter with the initiative to perform job responsibilities without direct supervision. Accuracy, completeness, and attention to detail are essential.

Physical Demands

• The employee is often required to stand and reach with hands, arms, and lifts and/or moves up to 30 pounds.
• Employee is required to meet with other personnel in other areas of the building.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
• Employee is required to operate all types of material handling equipment.

Work Environment

• A person in this job will occasionally be exposed to moderate to occasionally loud noise and will work near moving equipment.
