Job summary

Job Description

• This position is responsible for the retrieval and control of Raw Material for the daily line functions in manufacturing. Daily cleaning of kitting areas including removal of cardboard and trash. And any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Pull raw material from the warehouse for manufacturing.
• Empty large trash and cardboard bins.
• Sweep floors to maintain proper housekeeping requirement.
• Pull pallets to lines from staging area.
• Attends training sessions as directed.
• Helps train production operators as directed.

Education And/or Experience

• High school education or equivalent
• One or more years of warehouse and manufacturing experience preferred.

• Ability to complete basic math calculations. Convert English units of measure to metric.

Physical Demands

• The employee is often required to stand and reach with hands, arms, and lifts and/or moves up to 30 pounds.
• Employee is required to meet with other personnel in other areas of the building.

• Employee is required to operate all types of material handling equipment.

Work Environment

• A person in this job will occasionally be exposed to moderate to occasionally loud noise and will work near moving equipment.
