Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking an entry-level Material Handler in El Paso, TX for a 12-month contract. The role involves retrieving and controlling raw materials for daily line manufacturing, with 40-hour weeks on 2nd or 3rd shift and a pay range of $16–$20 per hour.

Responsibilities include warehouse material pulls, housekeeping, and assisting production operators. High school education preferred; 1+ years of warehouse experience preferred; must be able to operate a pallet jack.

Daily cleaning of kitting areas including removal of cardboard and trash.

And any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of warehouse and manufacturing experience preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend instructions. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to supervisor, management and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to complete basic math calculations. Convert English units of measure to metric.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense when carrying out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to be a self-starter with the initiative to perform job responsibilities without direct supervision. Accuracy, completeness and attention to detail are essential.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee is often required to stand and reach with hands and arms and lifts and/or moves up to 30 pounds. Employee is required to meet with other personnel in other areas of the building. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Employee is required to operate all types of material handling equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

A person in this job will occasionally be exposed to moderate to occasionally loud noise and will work near moving equipment.
