Warehouse Operator - 2nd Shift (Project Management)

Job Summary

Medline Industries, LP is the leading nationwide supplier of medical, surgical, and pharmaceutical products to hospitals, nursing homes, HME providers, surgery centers, physician offices, and home care/hospice settings. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our team. The Warehouse Operator plays an essential role in our success. Responsibilities include operating machinery to move materials for shipping, processing, and receiving, such as unloading, scanning, moving, staging, loading, locating, picking, relocating, and stacking products.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Catalog, record, and organize materials received at the warehouse; arrange materials for order assembly.
2. Fulfill worksheets or tickets for customers by reading production schedules, order forms, and requisitions.
3. Locate and gather products to move and distribute to production workers, assembly lines, or shipping areas.
4. Assemble, build, wrap, sort, and transport customer orders.
5. Operate hand trucks, carts, doilies, forklifts, order pickers, and walkie-talkies to transport items.
6. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Required Experience:

• Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently. Capable of understanding simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Basic keypunch skills.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift for extended periods daily.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day, up to 6 days a week.
• High sense of urgency.
• Flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $18.25 - $25.50 per hour. Actual salary will depend on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage.
