Job summary

CMC Seguin is seeking a hands-on operator to support our steel fabrication and construction reinforcement operations. You will maintain a clean work area, operate production equipment, and follow established safety procedures to keep production running smoothly.

You should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in all weather, and collaborate with a fast-paced team. Prior recycling/manufacturing experience and forklift operation are preferred to help you hit the ground running.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in recycling/manufacturing preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows safety regulations.
• Operates production equipment per established procedures and guidelines.
• Participates in CMC Safety Programs and upholds safety culture.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What You'll Do

What You'll Need

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Minimum 1 year experience in either recycling and/or manufacturing environment preferred
• Previous experience operating forklift, skid steer, loader or similar equipment
• Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus

Your Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
