Job description

A McDaniel Supply worker in Jesup, GA typically performs warehouse and distribution duties including receiving, storing, and organizing inventory, picking and packing customer orders, operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, maintaining accurate inventory records, and loading/unloading delivery trucks.

Workers are expected to follow safety protocols, maintain warehouse organization standards, and possess basic computer skills for inventory management systems. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities:

As a warehouse team member at MSC, you will play a crucial role in delivering superior customer service through efficient warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Fulfilling drink orders and processing State, Vending, and Special orders to meet customer requirements.
  2. Preparing outbound freight shipments and utilizing tablet and scanner technology to accurately scan and move products throughout the facility.
  3. Properly putting away received inventory and maintaining product rotation standards through restocking activities.
  4. Performing any related duties assigned by your supervisor.

Throughout all tasks, you must maintain strict compliance with company policies and procedures while upholding MSC's commitment to exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:
  • Warehouse experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and provide exemplary customer service.
  • Strong independent work capabilities and basic math and computer skills.
  • Previous forklift experience is preferred but not required.
  • Physical ability to safely perform all essential job functions, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and maintain regular, punctual attendance.

Compensation: $14 - $15 hourly
