A McDaniel Supply worker in Jesup, GA typically performs warehouse and distribution duties including receiving, storing, and organizing inventory, picking and packing customer orders, operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, maintaining accurate inventory records, and loading/unloading delivery trucks. Workers are expected to follow safety protocols, maintain warehouse organization standards, and possess basic computer skills for inventory management systems, with physical requirements including the ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities

As a warehouse team member at MSC, you will play a crucial role in delivering superior customer service through efficient warehouse operations.

Your responsibilities will encompass various functions as you cross-train and develop proficiency across all warehouse processes.

Primary duties include:

• Fulfilling drink orders and processing State, Vending, and Special orders to meet customer requirements. You will be responsible for preparing outbound freight shipments and utilizing tablet and scanner technology to accurately scan and move products throughout the facility.
• Additional responsibilities include properly putting away received inventory, maintaining product rotation standards through restocking activities, and performing any related duties assigned by your supervisor.
• Throughout all tasks, you must maintain strict compliance with company policies and procedures while upholding MSC's commitment to exceptional customer service that has established the company as a leading commissary operation.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate for this warehouse team member position must possess warehouse experience along with excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across all departments.
• You must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure while meeting strict deadlines, maintaining a positive attitude, and consistently providing exemplary customer service that aligns with MSC's standards. • Previous forklift experience is preferred but not required.
• Physical requirements include the ability to safely perform all essential job functions, maintain regular and punctual attendance, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed throughout warehouse operations.

Compensation

$14 - $15 hourly
