Warehouse Operator

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Shift & Working Hours: Day Shift; 08:00AM to 04:30 PM; Weekends/Overtime as needed.

Join our team as a Warehouse Operator at Land O'Lakes, where you will be a key member of our warehousing team, performing front-line processes to ensure the successful delivery of final products. This role offers opportunities to develop skills in warehouse operations, including coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries, packing/loading using a forklift, assisting with cycle counts, and organizing warehouse areas. Daily operation of a forklift and other machinery is required. Be part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow.

This position is part of our WinField United business, which supplies agricultural inputs, expertise, and technology to our member-owners and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Comply with all safety processes and promote safety practices for yourself and others.
2. Arrive on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes.
3. Process work orders by selecting correct products, palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and staging for delivery.
4. Multi-task and meet warehousing demands in a fast-paced environment.
5. Follow all standard operating procedures.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
7. Obtain and maintain successful forklift certification.

Required Experience and Skills:

1. Must be 18 years or older.
2. At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
3. Basic computer and math skills.
4. Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow instructions.
5. Willingness to learn, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
6. Strong collaboration and communication skills; respectful attitude.

Preferred Experience:

1. 2+ years of warehousing experience.
2. Forklift experience.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift/carry up to 60 pounds.
2. Frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and active movements.
3. Perform duties while wearing PPE.
4. Work in temperature zones including cold and hot environments, possibly with dust and chemicals.
5. Work scheduled shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
