Job summary

Loake Brothers Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a busy team in a standard UK warehouse. You will support picking and packing deliveries, processing stock movements, and a range of practical warehouse duties.

The role is based in Kettering with a 39-hour week from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. A competitive salary with bonus opportunities and staff discounts are offered; reliability and the ability to work both in a team and independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift, walk and be on your feet for long periods.

Job description

As a warehouse operative, you will work as part of a team in a busy warehouse environment to assist in picking and packing deliveries, processing deliveries in and other general warehouse duties.You will be required to work as part of a team and also independently to meet targets and work in a timely and safe manner. Based in Kettering on the Telford Way Industrial Estate, 39 hours working week between the hours of 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing goods for customer orders.
• Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
• Put away of deliveries into pickable locations
• Work in a clean and safe manner adhering and upholding health and safety rules
• Help maintain accurate stock levels through various stock control routines

We are looking for:

• Not essential but ideally experience of working in a warehouse environment using a WMS system with operations carried on using a handset.
• Reliability and the ability to work as part of a small team.
• Hard working and able to work independently as required
• Good physical fitness, as the role involves walking, lifting, and stretching
• Basic communication skills and attention to detail.
