Job summary

Kerry is seeking a Warehouse Operative at our Banks Crossing facility to support shipping, receiving and inventory control. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, stage orders for shipment and help maintain precise inventory and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

This role calls for a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and the ability to work long hours on your feet. Flexible shifts and independent work are valued at Kerry.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists with all shipping, receiving, and inventory organization operations
• Helps to efficiently carry out all product loading and unloading tasks
• Scans and tracks incoming and outgoing orders
• Receives and processes new inventory, ensuring contents match manifest documents
• Inspects receivables for defects, damages, or missing items
• Unloads, stacks, moves, and places products in designated areas
• Moves and transfers products between various sections of the warehouse as needed
• Uses forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, etc. to transfer and deliver goods
• Performs specific manual inventory counts
• Stacks, shelves, and stages items for storage and shipments as necessary
• Fulfills and tracks outgoing orders
• Collects, prepares, packages, and labels goods for shipmentStaging materials needed for production in to Manufacturing orders
• Creating transfer packets needed for the transfer of material to Manufacturing Orders.

About The Role

At our Banks Crossing facility, we are part of the Meat division where we create hundreds of different products for Kerry and our retail customers. If you’re looking to build a career in manufacturing with a team you can have some fun with, we might be the team for you. We are looking for someone to help us keep things running! The Warehouse Operative plays an important role in ensuring Kerry’s warehouse operates with optimum precision and efficiency, helping to fulfill orders and prepare them for shipment

Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $20.00 to $23.00 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education work experience, certifications, location, etc.

• In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
