Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Lancaster, Texas is hiring a Warehouse Operations Tech to support daily warehouse functions, operate with state-of-the-art equipment, and ensure safety and quality across the supply chain.

You will use MS Office and WMS systems, handle beverages, and coordinate with carriers. Training is provided, and forklift experience is valued.

This role offers weekly pay, a $3 shift differential, and a committed team that values safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years warehouse experience
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel) Working knowledge of WMS systems
• Forklift experience
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting standard facility KPI which meet/exceed safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance goals
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses
• Work with Operations Supervisor to distribute workload and manage WMS down to the floor
• Work with inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve daily order issues
• Interact with customer to communicate order changes and updates
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Perform other duties as required or assigned

• Hourly Pay $20.00 per hour with $3.00 Shift Differential

Requirements

• Create and maintain daily dock schedules
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and upating load statuses
• Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the work load is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
• Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve and problems with the day's orders
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
