Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Operations Technician in Shippensburg, PA to contribute to a safe, efficient warehouse environment. The role involves supporting KPI targets, maintaining dock schedules, and coordinating with carriers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting standard facility KPI to meet goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance.
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules.
• Communicate with carriers about appointments and load statuses.
• Ensure workload is distributed properly and assist with WMS down to the floor.
• Collaborate with inventory and on-site personnel to resolve order issues.
• Interact with customers to communicate order changes and updates.
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets and reports.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Hourly Pay $24.50 per hour
• Additional Pay: $2.50 per hour when assigned to C Shift
• Schedule: C Shift Friday-Sunday and every other Thursday 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) which consistently meet/exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and upating load statuses
• Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the work load is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
• Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve and problems with the day's orders
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
