Ryder is hiring an Operations Technician in Lathrop, California — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will support standard KPI goals across safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance, and help manage dock schedules and carrier communications. You will use WMS and SAP daily, coordinate with the inventory team, and maintain data in Excel for reports.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years warehouse experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Working knowledge of WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting standard facility KPI goals for safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance.
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules.
• Communicate with carriers regarding appointments and load statuses.
• Collaborate with Operations Supervisor to distribute workload and manage WMS at the floor level.
• Work with Inventory and on-site personnel to resolve orders.
• Interact with customers to communicate order changes and updates.
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets and reports.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Overtime Pay $39.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday - Wednesday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, Thursday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years warehouse experience
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel) Working knowledge of WMS systems
• Forklift experience
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) which consistently meet/exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and upating load statuses
• Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the work load is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
• Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve and problems with the day's orders
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
