The Warehouse Operations Planner ensures the fulfillment center has the system support, processes, and training required to achieve operational objectives; coordinates between systems, fulfillment center, and operations teams to develop and maintain detailed functional requirements and operational process flows; prioritize and manage the delivery, functional testing, and implementation of new functionality and enhancements; manage and validate data integrity; and analyze and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for continual improvement within the operation and system functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Follows all safety guidelines and performs in a safe and careful manner.
- Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving warehouse management system (WMS) and warehouse control system (WCS) issues.
- Vendor's point of contact for all WMS/WCS system needs.
- Monitors all conveyance and automation systems to ensure proper workflow.
- Documents all system changes.
- Responsible for exception reporting for all warehouse functions, including root cause analysis and problem solving.
- Responsible for sales and operational reporting required for the fulfillment center.
- Creates and sends on-demand reporting required by the Operations Team.
- Researches all SLA and aged order discrepancies identified by the KOP reporting team.
- Plans and executes physical/systemic setup for business changes (peak, non-peak, promotion), including location changes, put away logic, pick path/zone adjustments, and SKU slotting.
- Creates detailed SOPs for any changes to physical/systemic setup driven by the business.
- Leads and executes project work as well as client requests (promos, quality and inventory checks, slotting updates, research).
- Partners with clients regarding value-added services (VAS) preparation requirements, including creating operational SOPs.
- Assures that knowledge of potential system changes is shared with the Operations Team.
- Creates/updates slotting matrix used by Wave Planners to aid in making proper replenishment transactions.
- Monitors aged inventory transactions and investigates as needed.
- Researches and assists with SKU issues, including auditing item profiles and on-hand inventory.
- Prepares/executes all systemic functions of RTV processing.
- Assists with all client transfers in and out of the facility both operationally and systemically.
- Verifies and completes aged receipt transactions prior to inventory sync to ensure accuracy.
- Responsible for the training and ongoing coaching of Wave Planners.
- Performs the job duties of a Wave Planner if they are absent.
- Reports any failures of associates to follow proper systemic procedures affecting production/SLA agreements.
- Assists with user setup and password resets.
- Assists with training associates.
- Trains associates for new system rollouts.
- Provides information/training to other Radial sites.
- All other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- 2-4 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Above average knowledge of all conveyor sortation and other automation.
- Verbal skills/knowledge to describe specific conveyor areas to vendor/maintenance team should replacement parts be needed/installed.

- Near perfect attendance and punctuality.
- Dependability – Follows instructions, responds to management direction, takes responsibility for own actions, keeps commitments.

- Computer Skills – MS Office Suite and email etiquette required. Working knowledge of WMS Systems.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
