Job summary

APL Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily warehouse activities in Wisconsin, ensuring customer service, efficiency, safety, and cost control. This role leads a team, schedules personnel, and ensures proper use of equipment while applying Lean principles.

Under direction from Operations leadership, the supervisor drives continuous improvement, maintains compliance, and supports inventory controls to meet budget and service goals.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year lead or supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with warehouse management and operations.
• Knowledge of inventory control and distribution services.
• Ability to schedule labor and carriers.
• Experience with OSHA safety programs and company safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse activities to ensure safety, efficiency, and service.
• Coordinate unloading of shipments using established procedures.
• Verify inbound/outbound shipment accuracy.
• Maintain accurate load tracking and inventory controls.
• Prepare productivity reports for management.
• Provide on-going training and performance feedback to staff.
