Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced warehouse supervisor in Kansas. You will oversee daily warehouse operations, coordinate schedules, and lead a team with coaching to boost performance while ensuring quality and customer service standards.

The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and scanners, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. Preferred are a logistics degree, 2 years of supervision, and AS9100/ISO experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Experience with computerized scanner equipment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field (preferred)
• 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience (preferred)
• Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment (preferred)
• Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience (preferred)
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
• May be required to take and pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient daily operations of the warehouse
• Prepare schedules
• Supervise the team and provide training and coaching to improve performance
• Monitor work quality to consistently deliver exceptional customer service
• Demonstrate an understanding of the company quality policy
• Adhere to the GXO 7S program
• Communicate with leadership, team members and other departments
• Implement continuous improvement action plans
• Maintain a clean environment
• Perform duties outside normal responsibilities as needed
