Performance Team in Stockton, CA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily activities of the warehouse team, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, and shipping of materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience may substitute.
• Experience supervising warehouse staff or teams is preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control and safety procedures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Reviews inbound appointment log and open order report to plan daily work activities.
• Plans inbound and outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
• Determines staffing needs and schedules staff accordingly.
• Assigns workers to duties based on workload and shipping schedules.
• Updates procedures and ensures understanding by warehouse staff.
• Tracks productivity and evaluates performance by individual and department.
• Works with Inventory Control to maximize inventory accuracy.
• Manages payroll for the department.
• Advises staff on handling of received, stored, and shipped items; equipment use; and related issues.
• Traces item history to identify discrepancies and implement remedial actions.
• Determines work procedures, prepares schedules, and expedites workflow.
• Issues instructions and ensures safety procedures are followed.
• Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
