Job summary

MANITEX INC. is seeking an Experienced Warehouse Supervisor in Georgetown, TX to lead warehouse personnel and oversee daily operations including receiving, shipping, storage, and inventory control.

You will plan schedules, coordinate with production, and implement procedures to ensure accuracy, safety, and efficiency. A relevant degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in a warehouse setting is required; supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years in an industrial warehouse with at least 2 years in a supervisory/management role.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse personnel and organize daily activities for efficient processing, shipping, receiving, storage, and issuance of materials.
• Schedule staff to cover receiving, shipping, and production support.
• Direct day-to-day operations including shipping, receiving, sanitation, maintenance, inventory control, and material allocation.
• Maintain inventory integrity through cycle counts and product consolidation.
• Alert procurement and quality teams to out-of-stock risks and coordinate shortages prevention.
• Oversee warehouse security and stock replenishment; implement cost reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate with production line supervisors to ensure timely delivery of components for work orders.
• Plan and execute short- and long-term warehouse improvement projects.
• Maintain records for inventory locations, work orders, adjustments, and cycle counts.
