Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Warehouse Associate II for the BOLO/DOCK, 2nd shift, to prepare outgoing shipments, create BOLs, and secure loads. You will organize inventory for easy retrieval as orders are finishing and operate pallet jacks or forklifts to load outbound trailers.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to 6S standards, and collaboration with shipping to prioritize shipments. GED or higher is required, with 3 years in a high-volume warehouse and 1 year in truck packing.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in a high-volume warehouse environment.
• One year’s experience in truck packing operations.
• Ability to work up to nine hours per day.
• Willingness to embrace Hubbell values and behaviors.
• Contribute to team efforts and projects as needed.
• Knowledge of handling, safety and warehouse standards.
• Ability to tackle problems within a defined area using basic problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing shipments by creating BOLs and securing loads.
• Organize inventory for easy retrieval as orders are finished.
• Complete loader checklists to ensure trucks are safe for loading.
• Communicate with shipping office to prioritize outbound shipments.
• Operate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and efficiently.
• Develop and verify shipping documents for customer orders.
