To support continuous improvement and best practices in all aspects of Warehouse Operations, under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor and Manager. Support site-specific Air & Ocean Container Freight Stations (CFS), Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ), Distribution, Cross-border, and all Interdepartmental Warehouse Products. This is achieved through meeting internal company Key Performance Indexes (KPIs) and exceeding customer service expectations, all while operating in a safe and compliant manner. This role requires recurrent compliance training.
- Load/unload freight on and off trucks, including floor loads and pallets.
- Operate forklift, pallet jacks, pickers, and reach-trucks (propane and electric) safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Receive, sort inventories by SKU, Customer, PO#, and process damage exceptions.
- Operate radio frequency (RF)/Bluetooth handheld devices.
- Handle and log returns or inbound freight in the WMS system.
- Remove selected cartons for customs examinations or redistribution.
- Process small parcel shipments and train others if needed.
- Pick and pack units from master cartons, ensuring proper re-packing to prevent damage.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
- Report safety issues or equipment concerns to supervisors and management.
- Participate in billing activities, record inventory levels, and double-check counts.
- Set up and establish accounts in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Identify and resolve problems that could delay freight movement, including informing customer service of carrier issues.
- Manage customer-specific shipping activities, including order picking and fulfillment.
- Operate the Warehouse Management System (WMS), specifically RF handheld devices.
- Reconcile paperwork and cargo during shipping and receiving processes.
- Lead cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Supervise temporary labor in relevant functions.
- Handle cartons related to ULD Build and Breakdown and CCSF Screening.
- Work across multiple accounts and understand varying SOPs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- At least one year of relevant Warehouse or related experience.
- Experience in International Freight Forwarding Warehouse Operations is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of distribution activities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and freight compliance skills.
- Ability to be certified on all Machine Handling Equipment (MHEs) and operate them safely.
- Good math skills and safety judgment.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs regularly and more with assistance.
- Ability to work within a schedule, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- If applicable, valid vehicle license and compliance with DOT regulations, including passing a physical and being 21+ years old.
- If applicable, valid travel documentation (passport) for crossing borders.
- Completion of DG Awareness training and TSA certification for CCSF operations.
- Knowledge of CFS and FTZ operations and US Air & Ocean Export/Import processes (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with a sit-down propane forklift.

Shift: Wednesday-Sunday, 8 am to 5 pm.
