Job summary

Open Book Extracts, based in Roxboro, NC, is hiring a Warehouse Operations Associate to manage receiving, storage, and material retrieval, supporting production and fulfillment with 5S and safety focus.

The role is full-time and hourly, reporting to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager. Requires forklift experience, attention to detail, ERP/inventory proficiency, and strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift proficiency and warehouse experience.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Computer literacy with ERP and inventory systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Placement: move and store inventory to designated locations.
• Hazardous Materials Handling: safely manage hazardous materials per SOPs and safety rules.
• Warehouse Cleanup & 5S: maintain cleanliness and implement 5S across warehouse spaces and docks.
• Material Movement & Unloading: assist with moving materials and unloading trucks, using SOPs and safety practices.
