Job summary

UCX is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Concord, NC to support receiving, picking, packing and shipping operations. The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and timely processing of customer orders, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and reliability.

You will work as part of the Warehouse Operations team, perform forklift duties, maintain organized stock locations, complete regular safety checks, and cooperate with coworkers to ensure a smooth, customer‑first experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience strongly preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift strongly preferred.
• Must be able to lift and manage up to 80 lbs.
• Must have basic computer, reading, writing and math skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed picking, receiving, loading performance objectives.
• Maximize productivity by receiving materials and recording locations accurately.
• Accurately pick and fill orders to ensure correct item and quantity.
• Check pick sheets and stage materials for loading.
• Report discrepancies to a manager.
• Load trailers in accordance with proper weight charts.
• Build and assemble products by customer using load sheets.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area with a "Customer First" attitude.
• Perform regular safety checks on machines and PPE equipment.
• Ensure trailers/trucks are properly chocked and safety devices engaged before unloading.
• Ensure equipment is properly stored and charged at shift end.
• Cooperate and communicate with coworkers, supervisors, subordinates and outside contacts.
