Job summary

Amada in the United States is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, store, and distribute materials, tools and products within the plant. You will read production schedules and orders to determine items to move, and you will prepare parcels for shipping.

Responsibilities include conveying materials to storage or other areas, sorting items by size, type or product code, recording quantities, and operating a lift truck or handtruck to move loads.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and detail-oriented.
• Interpersonal and organizational skills; minimal travel.
• Ability to lift average 25 lb daily and operate in warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedule, order, work order or requisition to determine items to move, gather or distribute.
• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or bins by size, type, style, color or product code.
• Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute to shipping.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves, or convey to packing/shipping.
• Mark materials with identifying information and record amounts received or distributed.
