Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort and process shipments to match purchase orders and quality standards.
  • Maintain logs for shipping problems with major carriers.
  • Package and prepare items for external shipments and coordinate deliveries and pickups.
  • Assist in loading/unloading trucks and other vehicles.
  • Participate in regular physical counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Create electronic shipments on carrier websites and liaise with management on maintenance.

Warehouse Operations Specialist

The warehouse specialist is responsible for managing the storage, organization, and distribution of goods within a warehouse. They ensure that products are properly received, stored, and prepared for delivery while maintaining the efficiency and accuracy ofwarehouse operations.

Essential Functions
  • Receive,sort and process all incoming shipmentsto ensure that they match the purchase order and meet quality standards.
  • Maintainlogs to track, trace, and resolve shipping problems with all major carriers.
  • Sortsand processes mailings as assigned.
  • Packageand prepare items for external shipments, coordinate deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Assistin the loading and unloading of trucks and other vehicles
  • Processweekly outgoing courier packages.
  • Participatein regular physical counts of inventory to ensure accuracy.
  • Createelectronic shipments on carrier websites.
  • Liaisewith Building Management on maintenance activities.
  • Monitor/Order/replenishwarehouse inventory.
  • Maintainneat and orderly work environment, including following all safety protocols andregulations.
  • Coordinatefacility related jobs with external service vendors.
  • OtherDuties as needed.

Qualifications
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent.
  • Previousexperience working in a warehouse or related field.
  • BasicWorking Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Products, basic math andcomputer skills
  • Physicalfitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Goodorganizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Abilityto work independently and as part of a team.
  • Validdriver’s license and ability to operate material handling equipment such asforklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
WorkEnvironment/Physical Demands
  • Thisjob is performed in a professional office environment.
  • Thisposition is a highly active and mobile one;
  • Moderateamounts of heavy lifting are required,
Hours and Travel
  • Thisis a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday,9am-5pm.
  • Travelis expected for this position using company vehicle.
  • LimitedOvertime opportunities may become available throughout the year.
