Job summary

CJ's Tire & Automotive is seeking a Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth flow of wholesale and retail orders from receipt to delivery, while supervising and developing staff. The role emphasizes inventory control, process efficiency, and customer relations across distribution operations.

Responsibilities include scheduling, payroll productivity, and using Orion to optimize routes, with a requirement for 2 years of management experience and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Some college or post-secondary education preferred.
• 2 years management experience or equivalent warehouse experience.
• Supply chain/warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work 45–50 hours per week.
• Management opens/closes the warehouse during operating hours.
• Able to handle stressful situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical skills to interpret reports and develop strategies.
• Strong verbal communication with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Supervise training, scheduling and direction of work activity.
• Assist with recruitment, selection and onboarding of new employees; discipline and performance evaluation of staff.
• Create and manage schedules for productive payroll.
• Utilize Orion to maximize delivery route efficiency.
• Communicate inventory shortages to management and affected parties.
• Enter received items into the system promptly; process returns to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Organize, batch and approve receipts daily.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
