Job summary

Allen Brothers, part of The Chefs’ Warehouse, seeks an Operations Manager to direct the efficient operation of distribution centers and warehousing. You will manage inbound receipt, storage, inventory, and outbound order filling, while overseeing budgeting, customer service, and safety programs.

You’ll lead warehouse and transportation teams, drive process improvements, coordinate with offshore and third-party providers, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct the efficient operation of distribution centers and warehousing facilities.
• Manage inbound receipt, storage, inventory, and claims; oversee outbound order filling and shipping.
• Oversee budgeting, customer service, facility and equipment operation; implement inventory and loss prevention programs.
• Interface with offshore/subsidiary management, freight forwarders and third-party providers to coordinate operations.
• Develop and maintain a productive work team through training and career development.
