Job summary

Maersk is hiring a dedicated operations supervisor to lead daily warehouse and distribution activities in the United States. The role focuses on maintaining efficient processes, managing budgets, and driving continuous improvement while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, mentor staff, and oversee performance reviews, reporting, and compliance. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively before groups.

Responsibilities

• Implements, maintains, and improves operational functions to deliver quality, productivity, safety, and loss prevention.
• Establishes productivity and quality standards, manages budget and cost controls, and ensures adherence through follow up.
• Manages operating budgets to meet planned volume, including cost analysis and labor productivity.
• Plans, schedules, and manages daily activities to meet or exceed KPIs.
• Trains and ensures staff compliance with company policies, government regulations, and customer requirements.
