Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC in Illinois is seeking a results‑oriented Operations Manager to lead all activities related to warehouse operations and the development of company products. You will oversee five subordinate supervisors and 45+ staff, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant processes.

This full‑time role features a Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:00pm shift, a focus on quality, productivity, and loss prevention, and opportunities to drive continuous improvement across KPI

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience may substitute.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Implements, improves and maintains operational functions with focus on quality, productivity, safety and loss prevention.
• Establishes productivity and quality standards, develops budget and cost controls, ensures adherence.
• Manages operating budgets to meet planned volume including cost analysis and labor productivity.
• Works with all levels to ensure procedures are followed and best practices are adhered to.
• Plans, schedules, and manages daily activities to meet KPIs.
• Leverages continuous improvement to enhance labor productivity and process accuracy.
• Performs managerial functions such as mentoring, coaching, performance reviews, and interviewing candidates.
• Trains and ensures associates comply with policies, procedures and regulations.
• Admins production data reporting and compiles reports.
• Determines responsibilities of staff to accomplish business objectives.
