Job summary

Maersk is seeking a lead for operations and product development within our warehousing and distribution teams. The role oversees multiple departments, drives efficiency, and ensures safety and quality in daily activities.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, managing budgets and schedules, and maintaining compliance with policies and regulations. A strong focus on continuous improvement and customer service is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Bilingual in Spanish is highly desired.
• Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word Processing, and MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and development of company products, directly or via supervisors.
• Lead departments including Special Projects, Shipping/Receiving, Packing, Order Processing, Routing, Inventory and Auditing.
• Manage schedules and daily work activities to meet KPIs.
• Mentor, coach and conduct performance reviews; recruit and train staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulations.
