Job summary

Tracker RMS is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to own the performance, efficiency, safety and continuous improvement of a busy US warehouse. This hands-on leader will manage day-to-day activities while also developing strategies to boost productivity, capacity, systems and cost efficiency.

You will oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch, manage distribution including 3PL, and lead warehouse teams to drive stock accuracy and loss prevention.

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse or Operations Management.
  • 7+ years' experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Proven experience managing a large, multi-function warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
  • Manage distribution activities, including 3PL operations.
  • Lead, motivate and develop warehouse teams, supervisors and team leaders.
  • Drive stock accuracy, inventory control and loss prevention.
  • Establish and monitor warehouse KPIs, productivity and service levels.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Optimise warehouse space, layouts, workflows and resource utilisation.
  • Manage warehouse budgets, costs and operational resources.
  • Ensure effective use of ERP/WMS systems, SAP, scanners and warehouse technology.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, security and operational standards.
  • Manage equipment, facilities and maintenance requirements.
  • Support warehouse projects, systems implementations, automation and future capacity planning.
  • Provide regular operational performance and risk reporting to senior management.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to take overall responsibility for the performance, efficiency, safety and continuous improvement of a busy warehouse operation.

  • Experience with capacity planning, warehouse layouts and resource optimisation.
  • Strong Excel and data-analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, security and compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving, planning and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, make quick decisions and drive results.
