The hands-on leader balances daily execution with continuous improvement, mentoring a team of 15–20, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance, and partnering with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years leadership in warehouse/inventory or similar.
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to coach and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and inventory management best practices.
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics while maintaining high service levels.
• Monitor key performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Support annual physical inventory activities and ongoing inventory control initiatives.
• Develop and improve standard operating procedures.
• Drive operational efficiency through process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilize ERP and inventory management systems to increase visibility and performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 15-20 employees.

LHH is in search of a Warehouse Manager for one of our top clients- a growing organization in a highly regulated industry is seeking an experienced Inventory & Warehouse Operations Manager to lead warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory control operations. This position offers the opportunity to lead an established team while driving operational excellence, process improvement, inventory accuracy, and scalable growth.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who can balance day-to-day operational execution with continuous improvement initiatives and team development.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Distribution Operations

• Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, picking, packing, and shipping activities
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and inventory management best practices
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics while maintaining high service levels
• Monitor key performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed
• Support annual physical inventory activities and ongoing inventory control initiatives

Inventory Management & Process Excellence

• Ensure effective inventory tracking, control, and reconciliation processes
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement preventative measures
• Develop and improve standard operating procedures
• Drive operational efficiency through process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
• Utilize ERP and inventory management systems to increase visibility and performance

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 15-20 employees
• Establish accountability and performance expectations across multiple operational functions
• Create staffing plans and schedules to support business demands
• Foster a culture focused on quality, safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Conduct performance management, training, and employee development activities

Compliance & Operational Excellence

• Maintain compliance with applicable quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure adherence to company policies and operational procedures
• Promote workplace safety and organizational best practices
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support business goals and customer requirements

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ years of leadership experience within warehouse, inventory, distribution, logistics, or operations environments
• Experience leading teams of 10+ employees in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy methodologies
• Experience with ERP systems and warehouse management technologies
• Proven success implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable to performance standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred

• Experience working within a regulated manufacturing, distribution, or operational environment
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience
• Experience managing multiple operational functions within a warehouse or distribution setting
