Job summary

FNS, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee both the Ultium Cells battery material warehouse and the LG Chem resin warehouse in a senior logistics role. You will manage operations, inventory accuracy, safety compliance, cross-functional collaboration, and staff performance to support a high-velocity supply chain.

The role requires substantial warehouse leadership experience, knowledge of DG handling, and strong KPI-driven improvement capabilities in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics and warehouse operations.
  • Proven experience managing multiple warehouses or large-scale distribution centers.
  • Experience in the battery, chemical, or manufacturing industries preferred.
  • Strong understanding of WMS, inventory control, inbound and outbound processes.
  • Knowledge of handling and storage of Dangerous Goods (DG) and chemical materials (resin).
  • Experience with logistics KPI management and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical inventories.

  • Communicate with internal teams and customers regarding operational matters.
  • Lead warehouse staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Establish and monitor logistics KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Control warehouse operating costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities

The Warehouse Manager, responsible for both the Ultium Cells battery material warehouse and the LG Chem resin warehouse, will perform the following duties:

1. Overall Warehouse Operations Management
  • Oversee and optimize the overall operations of both warehouses (battery materials and resin)
  • Manage and improve inbound, outbound, inventory, storage, and shipping processes
2. Inventory Control and Accuracy
  • Maintain high inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Analyze discrepancies and implement corrective actions
3. Safety and Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards for battery materials (including DG) and chemical products (resin)
  • Adhere to OSHA and other regulatory requirements, and support internal and external audits
4. Customer and Cross-functional Communication
  • Communicate with Ultium Cells and LG Chem regarding operational matters
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as production, procurement, and transportation
5. Workforce and Team Management
  • Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
  • Develop workforce planning to improve operational efficiency
6. KPI and Performance Management
  • Establish and monitor logistics KPIs (inventory accuracy, OTIF, production support rate, etc.)
  • Drive continuous improvement based on performance analysis
7. Cost Management and Optimization
  • Control warehouse operating costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Improve operational efficiency through process enhancements
8. Systems and Data Management
  • Manage WMS and other logistics systems and ensure data accuracy
Qualifications

The qualifications for the Warehouse Manager overseeing both the Ultium Cells battery material warehouse and the LG Chem resin warehouse are as follows:

1. Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics and warehouse operations
  • Proven experience managing multiple warehouses or large-scale distribution centers
  • Experience in the battery, chemical, or manufacturing industries preferred
2. Professional Knowledge and Competencies
  • Strong understanding of overall warehouse operations (WMS, inventory control, inbound and outbound processes)
  • Knowledge of the handling and storage of Dangerous Goods (DG) and chemical materials (resin)
  • Experience in logistics KPI management and process improvement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
3. Regulatory and Safety Knowledge
  • Understanding of safety regulations such as OSHA
  • Experience in compliance with hazardous materials and chemical regulations
  • Experience supporting internal and external audits
4. Leadership and Communication
  • Proven experience in team management (hiring, training, and performance evaluation)
  • Strong communication skills with multiple stakeholders (customers and internal departments)
  • Effective decision-making and issue-resolution capabilities
5. Language and Other Requirements
  • Proficiency in both Korean and English for business communication
  • Proficiency in MS Office and logistics systems
  • Experience working in global or overseas environments preferred
Pay

The base salary range for this role is between $90,000-$110,000 yearly, and your base salary will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
