Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and develop warehouse teams, drive operational excellence, and ensure inventory accuracy and safety in a fast-paced 3PL distribution environment. Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM with overtime as needed, you will guide processes to keep goods moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of warehouse management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or manufacturing.

• 2+ years of WMS experience.
• Experience in distribution or manufacturing.

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and develop warehouse teams, drive operational excellence, ensure inventory accuracy and safety, and optimize productivity while delivering exceptional service in a fast‑paced 3PL distribution environment. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, with overtime as needed.

• Implement strategies to ensure the highest quality of work, optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity, and meet or exceed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
• Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors
• Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage, product is counted, and all necessary records and reports are completed accurately and on time
• Help maintain the security of the warehouse and assure the integrity of inventory
• Implement continuous improvement action plans
• Be flexible to work overtime and perform other responsibilities as needed

What we would like you to bring

• 3–4 years of management experience in a warehouse environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management discipline or manufacturing.
• Successful record of accomplishment in leadership and supervising the work of team members.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement.
• Previous Operations leadership in a distribution or manufacturing environment is needed.
• WMS experience of 2+ years.
• At least 4–5 years as someone in a distribution/manufacturing environment.

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data.
