Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel, a global logistics leader, is seeking a warehouse supervisor to coordinate daily warehouse activities in our Contract Logistics operation in the United States. You will lead a team, optimize processes, and ensure accurate, timely operations to support customer needs.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in warehousing with supervisory experience, familiarity with automated retrieval systems, and WMS proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with automated retrieval systems (HAI Robotics, Knapp Systems, Locus Robotics).
• At least 1 year operating powered industrial trucks.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Overview

As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Whether you’re leading a team, engineering processes, or driving projects, your work ensures that our customers’ products are stored, handled, and delivered with precision. In this role, you will lead a team and have general responsibility for coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. The right candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and a tendency towards 5S in the workplace. Your typical shift will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. As a 3PL provider, we will count on your leadership skills to help drive excellent service for our valued customers.

• Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage, product is counted, and all necessary records and reports are completed accurately and on time
• Help maintain the security of the warehouse and assure the integrity of inventory
• Implement continuous improvement action plans
• Be flexible to work overtime and perform other responsibilities as needed

Desired Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
• 2 or more years in a supervisory role
• Understanding and experience working with automated retrieval systems such as HAI Robotics, Knapp Systems, and Locus Robotics
• At least 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
