Employbridge seeks an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse operations at our Lincolnwood, IL distribution facility. You will oversee inventory management, fulfillment execution, and team performance in a fast-paced, omnichannel environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, process improvement, and the ability to drive accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction during peak volumes and promotional events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading warehouse operations and teams.
• Proven inventory management and cycle counting experience.
• Experience with e-commerce/retail fulfillment and DTC operations.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with WMS, ERP, or inventory platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, fulfillment, shipping, and returns.
• Supervise and develop a team of warehouse associates with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage labor planning, staffing schedules, and workload balancing to meet demands.
• Ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of direct-to-consumer and retail replenishment orders.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, reconciliations, and physical inventories.
• Develop and maintain warehouse SOPs, workflows, and best practices.
• Track and report KPIs related to productivity, quality, and fulfillment.

About the Opportunity

We are supporting a rapidly growing omnichannel retail and e-commerce organization seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse operations, inventory management, fulfillment execution, and team performance at its Lincolnwood, Illinois distribution facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on operations leader who thrives in fast-paced environments where order volume fluctuates significantly due to seasonal demand, product launches, and promotional events. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading warehouse associates on the floor, driving accountability, and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Reporting directly to senior operations leadership, this individual will play a key role in optimizing warehouse performance and supporting continued business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, fulfillment, shipping, and returns.
• Supervise, coach, and develop a team of warehouse associates while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage labor planning, staffing schedules, and workload balancing to meet operational demands.
• Ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of direct-to-consumer and retail replenishment orders.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, reconciliation activities, and physical inventories.
• Develop, implement, and maintain warehouse SOPs, workflows, and operational best practices.
• Track and report on KPIs related to productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and fulfillment performance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support product launches, promotional events, and inventory planning initiatives.
• Drive process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve overall warehouse performance.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and compliant warehouse environment.

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of warehouse leadership or warehouse operations management experience.
• Experience directly managing warehouse staff and frontline associates.
• Strong background in e-commerce, retail fulfillment, or direct-to-consumer (B2C) operations.
• Experience overseeing inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
• Proven inventory management and inventory control experience.
• Experience creating or improving warehouse processes, procedures, and SOPs.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management platforms, or ERP systems.

Preferred

• Experience supporting both e-commerce fulfillment and retail store distribution.
• Familiarity with Shopify, Square, or similar commerce platforms.
• Experience in consumer products, apparel, retail distribution, merchandise fulfillment, or omnichannel operations.
• Demonstrated success improving warehouse productivity, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
