Job summary

POOLCORP offers a Management in Training - Operations (MIT) program as an entry-level, hands-on training track based in our distribution warehouses. It provides six months of guided learning across operations management with exposure to warehouse, purchasing and leadership duties.

Participants gain a comprehensive foundation and, after completion, may pursue Operations Supervisor or Manager roles nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Leadership or problem-solving experience in distribution or related fields.
• Willingness to relocate for career development opportunities.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Interest in pursuing Operations Supervisor/Manager roles post-training.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training across operations, management and purchasing.
• Shadow experienced staff to learn procedures and performance standards.
• Participate in classroom training at EDGEucation Center in Plano, TX.
• Present outcomes to senior management upon MIT program completion.
• Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.
