Job summary

SouthernCarlson, Inc. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager in Houston, TX to lead daily warehouse operations and build a high-performing team. You will oversee loading, unloading, picking, stocking, and inventory movement while ensuring safety compliance and efficient processes.

You will supervise schedules, manage routes for delivery drivers, run inventory counts, and maintain a safe, organized environment. A strong focus on coaching and continuous improvement is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience managing a warehouse or distribution operation.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Experience with inventory control and warehouse reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with proven team leadership experience.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, picking, stocking, staging, and inventory movement.
• Supervise, schedule, and assign work to warehouse team members to ensure productivity and accuracy. This includes managing the routes for delivery drivers.
• Coordinate and manage physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA standards, and DOT regulations.
• Review and manage work orders, purchase orders, and inventory reports.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Provide coaching, performance feedback, and direction to warehouse employees.
• Partner with regional leadership to identify and implement process improvements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
