Job summary

TAS in Houston is seeking an Assistant Director of Warehouse Operations to lead and optimize warehousing across multiple facilities in the Houston area. You will guide warehouse staff, drive safety, and ensure efficient receipt, storage, and distribution.

The role requires 6+ years in warehouse management, experience with ERP/WMS and international shipping, and a track record of process improvements. This position offers leadership within a growing portfolio of logistics services.

Qualifications

6+ years of management experience in warehouse operations.
6+ years of related manufacturing or factory experience.
Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
Experience with ERP/Warehouse systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Experience managing international shipping processes.

Responsibilities

Oversee warehouse operations across multiple facilities in the Houston metropolitan area.
Supervise warehouse managers.
Prioritize workload across the warehouses.
Identify and address all safety hazards within the work areas.
Identify and address additional capacity and resources needs.
Participate in process improvement initiatives.
Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
Ensure traceability on required materials.
Ensure compliance with government regulations and corporate policies and procedures for warehouse operations.
Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
