Job summary

BakeMark is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, sanitation, and equipment maintenance. The role partners with branch leadership to uphold BakeMark's standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.

You will supervise and develop warehouse staff, monitor performance metrics, ensure accuracy and timely delivery, and resolve operational issues while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory/management experience in warehouse or logistics.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, sanitation, equipment maintenance, and truck loading.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates to achieve productivity, accuracy, safety, and customer service objectives.
• Monitor warehouse performance metrics and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure customer orders are accurately picked, loaded, and shipped according to company standards and delivery schedules.
• Review productivity, inventory, and returns reports and take corrective action as needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and proper inventory management practices.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs of warehouse equipment and material handling equipment.
• Review pick sheets, shipping documentation, and order accuracy to minimize errors.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues, shipping discrepancies, and customer concerns.
• Foster a positive work environment by maintaining open communication and resolving employee concerns effectively.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, safety procedures, and operational standards.
