Job summary

TAS Energy, a Houston-based company, seeks a Sr. Warehouse Associate to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, supervise associates and contractors, and ensure timely, accurate processing of orders within ERP and WMS platforms.

You will drive safety, Lean/Kaizen initiatives, cycle counting, and inventory control while coordinating with cross-functional teams to improve throughput and accuracy in a demanding manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret safety rules/documents.
• Forklift operation.
• Strong math skills for unit conversions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Computer literate with ERP and MS Office.
• Analytical and detail oriented.
• Strong communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct warehouse associates and contractors.
• Prioritize workload in the warehouse.
• Maintain training records for all associates.
• Identify and address safety hazards in the work area.
• Participate in Lean/Kaizen and other operational initiatives.
• Train new warehouse staff in material handling and system transactions.
• Assist in recruitment of warehouse personnel.
• Assist in shipping/receiving, unloading, and distributing items to sales teams.
• Stock materials in proper warehouse bin locations.
• Read and transact customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents.
• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and visitors.
• Conduct 5S activities and general housekeeping.
• Record transactions in ERP/WMS and maintain traceability of materials.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
• Monitor and report team KPIs to upper management.
