Job summary

Interstate Battery System of America Inc is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee all inventory movement in the distribution center. Responsibilities include supervising 5-6 warehouse workers, directing receiving, putaways, picking, packing, and shipping while improving processes and safety.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and solid organizational skills, with knowledge of carrier operations, regulatory requirements, and the ability to operate forklifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in warehouse management with inventory controls.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Knowledge of carrier operations and distribution methods.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in logistics and shipping.
• Proficiency with computer systems used in warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Directs 5-6 warehouse workers and oversees receiving, putaways, picking, packing, shipping.
• Designs warehouse layout to maximize space, productivity and safety.
• Develops SOPs and performance standards.
• Coordinates physical inventory and cycle counts.
• Manages inventory quality and accuracy programs.
• Ensures safety compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Operates forklift and trains workers in safe operation.
• Prepares operational reports and budgets.
