Job summary

Interstate Batteries in the Texas Panhandle region seeks a Manager, Warehouse to lead inventory movement, supervise 2-3 warehouse workers, and ensure accurate receiving, putaways, picking, packing, and shipping.

You will develop stocking strategies, enforce standard operating procedures, maintain safety, and produce operational reports while training staff on forklift use and carrier procedures. This role offers growth and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year warehouse management experience including inventory control procedures
• 3 years of general warehouse operations experience
• Strong leadership, management, motivation and teamwork skills
• Strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization and time management skills and ability to work under pressure
• Understanding of state, federal and interstate commerce regulations
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory movement in the warehouse and supervise 2-3 workers
• Oversee receiving, putaways, picking, replenishments, packing, palletizing and shipping
• Develop stock locations and order picking strategies to optimize workflow
• Ensure safety, SOP compliance and performance standards are met/exceeded
• Prepare and distribute operational reports and train staff on forklift use
