Job summary

The Armstrong Company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to plan, organize, and supervise daily warehouse operations including receipt, storage, safety, and inventory management. You will oversee staff, coordinate with other departments, and drive process improvements while ensuring accurate billing and reporting.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 2–5 years in warehousing, solid leadership and analytical skills, and experience with WMS systems (Magaya a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 2–5 years of Transportation/Warehousing experience.
• Strong project management, supervisory, and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of kitting, receiving, inventory control, and general warehouse operations.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); Magaya WMS is a plus.
• Proven communication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills, including root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Suite and data entry systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily warehouse operations and activities, including receipt, documentation, storage, safety, distribution, and inventory maintenance.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate performance of warehouse staff; assign workloads.
• Receive, unpack, pack, load, issue, store, and deliver materials and equipment.
• Implement and maintain warehousing systems, procedures, and standards for accurate and timely storage and billing.
• Ensure safety and OSHA standards are consistently met.
• Maintain storage area by organizing floor space and suggesting improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve warehouse efficiency and procedures.
• Assist in implementing technology to optimize warehouse processes.
• Schedule and track all ingoing and outgoing projects; support sales by pulling shipments and reporting.
• Reconcile receiving and delivery reports; act in line with Armstrong DNA.
