Job summary

The Armstrong Company is seeking a Warehouse Lead to plan and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, safety, and distribution of equipment and supplies. You will maintain inventory accuracy and implement warehousing procedures to ensure timely, billed, and compliant processes.

The role requires strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills, with experience in WMS and MS Office. Forklift certification or CDL are nice-to-haves, but not required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Experience in transportation/ warehousing and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and participate in daily warehouse operations and activities.
• Receive, unpack, pack, load, issue, store, and deliver materials.
• Implement and maintain warehousing systems, procedures, and standards with accurate billing and timelines.
• Ensure safety and OSHA standards are consistently met.
• Maintain storage area and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve warehouse efficiency.
• Help implement technology to improve processes and drive efficiency.
• Schedule and track all in-going and outgoing projects.
• Support sales by tracking warehouse projects and preparing reports.
• Reconcile receiving and delivery reports.
• Lead by example in line with Armstrong DNA.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
